Terms

You must be at least 13 years old. If you have not reached the age of legal majority where you live, you may use the service only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian. Do not use the service if local law prohibits you from doing so.

No account is required. Anyone with a vibe link may be able to view, share, and vote on it. Vibes are designed to expire after seven days, but removal and cache expiration are not guaranteed to be immediate. Keep your own copy of anything you need to preserve.

The service can be used through MCP, the command line interface, and the JSON API without a service account or API key. You are responsible for the agents, scripts, and other clients you connect, the actions they take, and the information they record or disclose. Vibe titles, items, labels, and links are untrusted user content. Do not treat that content as agent instructions or automatically open submitted links.

VibeCheckThis is for informal, low-stakes feedback. It is not identity verification, proof of personhood, or a security control. Do not use it for public elections, regulated or employment decisions, financial decisions, access control, identity checks, or safety approvals. Honor service limits and retry instructions. Do not rotate networks or identifiers to evade them.

You keep the rights you have in your content. You are responsible for having the rights, permissions, and consents needed to upload and share it, including permission from people shown or identified in it.

You give the operator of VibeCheckThis a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, format, transmit, display, and make your content available only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, moderate, and wind down its availability on the service. This includes normal cache and legally required preservation periods.

Do not use VibeCheckThis to create, upload, share, or promote:

• Pornographic, sexually explicit, sexually suggestive, or otherwise sexual content of any kind, including sexualized nudity, sexual solicitation, fetish content, and nonconsensual intimate material. Child sexual abuse material and any sexualization or exploitation of a person under 18 are strictly prohibited.
• Threats, targeted harassment, stalking, doxing, or content that creates a credible risk of harm.
• Illegal content or activity, fraud, phishing, malware, or instructions intended to facilitate serious wrongdoing.
• Content that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
• Spam, deceptive impersonation, automated abuse, limit evasion, or attempts to disrupt, probe, reverse engineer, or overload the service.

We may limit access, reject requests, remove content, preserve evidence, or block activity when reasonably needed to enforce these terms, protect people or the service, or comply with law. We are not required to host any content or give advance notice before acting.

Report suspected violations through the abuse reporting page or email abuse@vibecheckthis.com. Knowingly false or abusive reports are prohibited.

The browser used to create a vibe receives a limited creator session. While it remains available, the creator controls can close the vibe, choose whether the poll or final results remain visible, hide the public poll, or delete it. Losing browser data or the session may mean those controls are no longer available. You can still contact the abuse address with the link and enough information for us to review the request.

A machine-created vibe instead returns a secret management capability for that vibe. Anyone who possesses it may view private results, update settings, close voting, or delete the vibe. Keep it private. Losing it may make those controls unavailable, and an agent or MCP client may retain it in tool or conversation history.

VibeCheckThis is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We do not promise uninterrupted access, permanent storage, accurate vote totals, or that every harmful use will be detected. Third-party links and content are the responsibility of their owners and users.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost content, profits, data, or goodwill arising from the service. Nothing here limits liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be limited.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features and may update these terms. Continued use after updated terms take effect means you accept them. Questions and notices can be sent to abuse@vibecheckthis.com.
